District 6 was dispatched to Riverwinds Community Center for a structure fire with the report of a smell of electrical burning in the snack bar Tuesday night. After 614 arrived on location first due following 613, 626, 666, 631, and 612. As companies cleared from the structure stations 6-2 (Verga) and 6-1 (Thorofare) were notified by Gloucester County Communications center of a MVC (Motor Vehicle Crash) with entrapment on Crown Point Rd. in the area of Matteo's Iron and Metal. 6101 arrived confirming 1 pt entraped with the vehicle on it's side. 626 arrived a short time later with 6201 and took command. Crews from 628 and 613 stabilized the vehicle in preparation for extrication. Crews then used various tools including O cutters and saw zall's to cut out the roof.
Later that night station 6-1 was dispatched to Riverwinds Drive for an MVC. Crews arrived to a single vehicle crash on a pole. Crews helped EMS stabilize and get the pt on the stretcher.
All incidents are still under investigation.
