On Tuesday around 0945 station 6-1 was dispatched on the initial alarm for a working fire on 100 block of W Broad St in Paulsboro. 613 responded with a staffing of 4 and was third due into the job. Ladder 2116 and Engine 1711 arrived prior and began an interior attack of the fire. Approximately 30 minutes into the assignment with 3 engines, 4 ladders, 2 rescues, 1 tender, 1 ric and 35 personnel on scene and evacuation order was given and crews began a defensive attack of the structure. The fire was brought under control at 1150. Crews remained on scene for 2 more hours controlling hot spots. The fire is under investigation by the Gloucester County FMO.
